Silica Transport, Inc. was founded in 1969 to provide transportation to a local mining company. STI has diversified and now serves a variety of shippers.

Management:  Family owned and operated.  Jack and Carole Knight founded STI in 1969 and continue to manage it today.  Five of their children are active in the operation and management of STI providing customer service 24/7.

EQUIPMENT: STI  owns 45 tractors and 170 trailers including dry-bulk tanks, MC-331 tanks and flatbeds.  Satellite dispatch and tracking was implemented in 1989.  STI is dedicated to keeping pace with technological advances that enable better service.  All of the equipment is spec’d to provide maximum economy and payload.
